Food here is spectacular. Had the Daanook platter and loved it. All home made and fresh to order. The pita was delicious and the chicken was well seasoned too. Will be back for sure.

Absolutely excellent food. There are 4 stools if you want to eat in but we took it to go. They take credit cards. Please support these guys.

I tried the Falafel and chicken and beef Shawarma at Daanook Restaurant and it was great! The Shawarma was packed with delicious flavors and spices, which I loved.The combination of the two was simply perfect. I highly recommend Daanook Restaurant for anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

Excellent spot in Winnipeg for middle eastern food like falafel. The falafel was very good and the fries it comes with were excellent. We also had the tabbouleh salad which was great with a sweet and tangy vinaigrette.

I visited Daanook for the first time today and it was absolutely amazing! I got the veggie samosas with a side of fries. The samosa’s were sooo perfectly small and delicious! The staff were also absolutely lovely. They threw in a free falafel for me to try and it was one of the best I’ve had in a while! I’ll definitely go back for more! I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

Delicious! I've ordered from here more times than I'd like to admit. The beef and chicken wrap is always consistently great, paired perfectly with the falafel and kibbeh. A must-try if you're in the area. It's mostly takeout (only four seats available), but the prices are good and it's a local gem with friendly staff.

The BEST shawarma in the Exchange District. This little restaurant has some of the best food in the exchange. The food is fresh, tastes amazing, and the service is quick and friendly. There hasn't been a meal I've had from Daanook that I haven't loved, and every time I bring it into my office, I always have coworkers asking where I got the food from. Vegan and keto options too – my sister, a vegan for many years, raves about Daanook. Don't bother with the other shawarma options in the Exchange, you'll be left wishing you went to Daanook.

Accommodating and quick, great for work lunch. Service was good. Vegan options at request. Smell is phenomenal. Summer patio is small but cute.
